FAQ – Pompei Plus: Reserved Entry

What does the “Pompei Plus” ticket include?
The ticket includes:

  • Entry to the Pompeii Archaeological Park

  • Access to the Villa of Diomedes

  • Booking and management fees

What are the opening hours of Pompeii?
Pompeii is open every day.
Today’s hours: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Last entry is allowed well before closing time. Hours may vary by season.

What can I see with the Pompei Plus experience?
You’ll walk the ancient streets and visit Roman homes like the House of Siricus. The ticket also gives access to three important villas outside the city walls:

  • Villa of the Mysteries

  • Villa of Diomedes

  • Villa Regina in Boscoreale, with its Antiquarium

Where do I redeem the Pompei Plus ticket?
Tickets can be redeemed on the day of your visit at any official entrance to the site.

Which entrances are available?
You may enter through any official gate of Pompeii.

Can I exit and re-enter the site?
No. This ticket allows single entry only. Once you leave, re-entry is not permitted.

Can I bring luggage or large backpacks into Pompeii?
No. Large bags and suitcases are not allowed inside.
Lockers are available within the site for safekeeping.

Are pets allowed in the park?
Yes, but only:

  • Small dogs, on a leash and carried or placed in a carrier when inside buildings

  • Certified service dogs assisting visitors with disabilities

Is Pompeii accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes. Wheelchair access is available throughout much of the site. However, some areas may be difficult to reach due to the ancient terrain.

Are there long waits on busy days?
Yes. On holidays, weekends, or during peak season, expect longer wait times at entrances and key attractions.

Can I get a refund or change the date of my visit?
A full refund is available only if you purchase a refundable ticket and cancel by 11:59 PM the day before your visit.
